Follow the "plum" line

Ranging in color from beet red to deep purple, sweet and juicy plums are here, just waiting to be tucked into a cardamom and pistachio cobbler, or to star in a salad or a pie.

Other highlights at the market this week: quiches from Nutmeg Cafe for those easy, breezy dinners when you're too hot to cook and all you have to make is a gorgeous dappled- leaf salad from Berry Brook Farm capped with nasturtium blossoms from your garden.

Other options for a quick market dinner? Chilled gazpacho from Jody's Kitchen, served with a slice of miche from Wave Hill Breads.

Forward Roots Kimchi is here with their tangy, bright kimchi which elevates any sandwich. Pick up some kimchi cabbage slaw to add crunch and kick to your hot dogs - be they beef (R&M Farms) or tofu. We love that Keith buys his cabbage and other kimchi ingredients at the market on Sundays.

Kontoulis Olive Oil will be here so you can pick up some Kalamata Olives and Demetra's super flavorful olive oil to make this Horiatiki Salata (Villager's Salad) .

1/2 cup Kontoulis Family Olive Oil
3-4 firm ripe market tomatoes
1 red onion
1 small cucumber
1 large green/ yellow pepper
1/3 cup Kalamata olives (pitted)
2-3 pinches of dried oregano
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

Milton is performing this week.

We can't wait to see you at the market!
