We’re back!

It feels like forever since we've had a market! I hope everyone's as excited as I am to reunite (and stock up on Titusville Farm's salad greens) this Sunday. As if the market itself weren't celebration enough, Passover and Easter are fast approaching, and our farmers have everything we need for our respective feasts.

Ryan from R&M Farm and Lucy over at Letterbox Farm can help you pick out the perfect farm-raised chicken for a Passover Marbella. At once sweet and briny, this centerpiece dish is an elevated but deceptively simple crowd pleaser for friends and family. A creamy bowl of potato and pea chowder is an excellent choice for an easter brunch or dinner, adding warmth to these still-cold days. As always, Amelle at Halal Pastures Farms will have a beautiful array of fresh herbs to complement whatever you make. Plus a smile that could light up a continent.

When you're ready for dessert, this Kosher chocolate cake uses beets as a (not-so-)secret ingredient. Grab a few from Madura Farm and experience firsthand this gorgeous red velvet dessert's unbelievable dairy-free texture!

I can't wait to say hi and grab some coffee from Austin at Boxing Day Café this week! Please give a warm IFM welcome to our April and May coffeevendor. He will be offering espresso drinks made to order. Also, our favorite gardener,  Nick Storres, from Homegrown Nursery will be there, which means it must be getting warm soon! Swing by for colorful spring veggie starts that you can grow in your own kitchen. Last year's tomatoes kept me going for weeks.
